Our TONGARIKI men’s swim shorts are named after the Ahu Tongariki, the largest ahu on Easter Island – also known as Rapa Nui – in Eastern Polynesia. The “ahu” were ceremonial platforms that aboriginal tribes used to worship ancestors, which were represented by monolithic human statues, which have served as inspiration for our design.
